Meridians are paths where energy flows in the body. This is why my tagline is “open pathways to health”—because when I treat with acupuncture that is my primary objective: to unblock the energy pathways in the body, to help the energy to flow smoothly in the correct direction. When that happens, pain is decreased and the body is better able to function and heal itself.
Classical Chinese Herbal Formulas
The primary objective in prescribing an herbal formula is the same as for acupuncture: to correct energetic imbalances and release stagnation in the meridian system.
In addition to stress reduction and pain relief, massage also helps the qi (energy) in the body to flow more freely. I utilize massage modalities that include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, and Thai.

There is a lot of conflicting, unsupported and incorrect information out there regarding how to develop and maintain good health.
We live in an environment where we are rewarded for overwork and encouraged to overconsume, so making choices that are best for our longterm health is often difficult. Healthy living is countercultural.
I offer information and individual consultation to teach my clients simple changes they can make in their lifestyle that will help them feel better, and offer support and encouragement for them to improve maintain their health:
