Here's some basic information about sweating: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/30/sweat-too-much-normal-sweating-facts_n_4659752.html?ref=topbar
And I would add:
For sweat issues, talk to an acupuncturist! For centuries, acupuncturists have been using information about sweating to help us with diagnosis. We treat conditions like colds and rashes by promoting sweat with acupuncture and/or herbs. Notice how you sweat when a fever breaks? In that case sweating is part of your body's healing response.
Acupuncture can also help to regulate sweat, addressing concerns of too much or even too little sweat (which from our perspective is not a healthy condition either and is related to a specific type of tension or stress). Other health issues, both physical and emotional, tend to resolve concurrently when sweating is regulated by acupuncture.
